Lawful basis on which we use this information

We collect and use personal information under legitimate interest of the General Data Protection Regulation (Article 6, Article 9 - 2d - GDPR):

1. Status Employment is a charitable employment service which supports disabled people to find employment, as clearly stated in our Constitution; it is therefore in our legitimate interest to hold personal information to pursue our charitable objectives.

2. Status Employment collects information on individuals working for Status Employment to deliver its’ services to candidates safely. We would not be able to deliver such provision otherwise.

Status Employment also collects personal details of volunteers to be able to deliver services to candidates safely; all information collected is necessary to deliver a service to individuals with complex needs who are often vulnerable individuals.

3. Data may have to be retained for the length of time the commissioner or funder of services requires.
